Tomorrows Are has its origins in a chant I came up with in the lead up to the 2017 solar eclipse… “feet on the floor, face in space”.

More recently those words found their way into a toe-tapping krautrock vibe of a tune and accumulated a couple more sections of lyrics and chords. From chant to chanson. While demoing it, Jeremy Ferguson (producer) threw in a drum machine curveball that turned the tune on its head in an exciting way – it reminded me of the second half of Roxy Music’s Amazona. When the Cinco players got involved it turned into a magically pulsing ripper. Somewhere between Harmonia and Amazona. And hopefully, beyond.
