Gelotologia (a Graeco γέλως, γέλωτος 'risus') est investigatio risús et eius effectuum in corpore humano, plerumque in opinione psychologicá et physiologicá. Fry in Universitate Stanfordiensi huic disciplinae insigniter favebat.[1] Inter genera therapiae quae felicitate risuque utuntur sunt therapia felicitatis et risus, meditatio ridicula, et ioga ridicula.
