The Late Night Horror Drive-In

Still dealing with issues with my arm. Medication isn’t helping. So unfortunately I’ll have to see a doctor. All this is holding me back from writing as when free I’m just so tired. But I’ll get to some new stuff ASAP. Until then. Here’s my latest pickups.

Massacre is an Italian film. At one point it was quite rare with only bootlegs. When found streaming. Only an Italian dub with no English subtitles. Lucio Fulci wasn’t involved. His name was used to sell the movie. Footage from Massacre was used in Fulci’s Cat in the Brain.

Faceless is a super fun French film from Jesús Franco. It’s a remake of sorts of Eyes Without a Face, which Franco already did a loose remake of with the Awful Dr. Orloff.

Lastly Dark Glasses. There’s no 4k. It was only 11.99 so why not? I saw it once when released. It’s ok but for a film 52-years into Argento’s career not too bad. Has its moments. It might be his last film as he’s currently 86-years old.
