Watching you squirm to make our love make sense. Thinking I thought I was helping with my two sense. Losing you wasn’t my intent, I really thought I was helping in my defense. I’ll remember, you told me you loved me on the second date. Sad in your eyes, your mouth sedate. So I asked you to take some time while I'd wait. But you couldn’t give your heartbreak, a break. And I’m a dummy for telling my sister it was fate. Ain’t it funny how a heartbreak can make another heartbreak. I’ll walk away, knowing that I gave it all the truth.
