LAZA returns to United Identities with his debut EP for the label. Therapy EP holds two house groovers that breathe light while moving with purpose. “When My Mind Overflows” and “Try” channel the spirit of Chicago house while weaving in broader electronic influences, unfolding like passages in motion.
Self-reflection, motivation, and discipline are recurring themes in LAZA’s music, brought to the surface through his vocals in both tracks. With Therapy EP, LAZA explores the opposites of finding motivation and facing burnout. "When My Mind Overflows" takes the lead, finding ways to make sense of it all amidst the chaos and transforming that energy into rhythm, with an instrumental version included. Its counterpart "Try" pushes through with an ode to persistence, nodding to Outkast and Big K.R.I.T while offering its own mantra to rise and keep moving.
For LAZA, music is a way to process, to reframe, to convert strain into motion. These tracks sit firmly in the house/electronic space yet open into wider worlds, honoring the journey over the destination.
