Maxim Anokhin opens the 2021 L/B Recordings release season as he knows best – with a brand new Limewax EP. All throughout its four tracks, “Ridderpak” leans heavily on atmosphere and sparse production. The drum sound is vast, the bass is warm but nasty and the synthwork has both edge and oldschool grandeur. The tracks are moody shape-shifters, sprinkled with cheeky details. With “Ridderpak” Limewax lures you back into his twisted electronic music domains and will keep you on your toes at least until closer "Bonus Parade" eats, chews and spits you senseless and not having much else to do but to smash that play button again (and again).
