Alocasia is a gorgeous-looking tropical plant with arrowhead-shaped leaves. The plant has rhizomes or tubers under the soil that produce enough leaves to cover the planter. It gets another name ‘elephant’s ear’ for its exclusive shape of the downward leaves.
The plant originated in the tropical region of India and other parts of Asia. In warm and humid weather, it thrives well. Their tuber is edible which is popularly known as taro.
