>Do you base your world view on the latest news post you saw too?
what in the ad hominem

>Also, by the logic in the cap Susie is an equal candidate

Do…do you think I'm arguing for Kris Knight? After I explicitly used it as an example of a debunked theory that people were overconfident in? Or do you think the tweet is post-3&4 (it's not, though the author of the tweet is in fact still a Kris Knighter)?

>You're also so close to a realization with how Noelle is treated by the narrative. Dig a little deeper.

If you think there's some merit in how Noelle is written, just say it instead of implying it's obvious. This is the exact kind of smug attitude that's making the fandom insufferable right now and it needed to die yesterday.

>>45986
Condescending tone is not an ad hominem (neither are insults for that matter). That claim coming from you is rich, considering you fully engaged in "ad hominem" by your own standard.
Furthermore, alleging smugness rings hollow as you turn your nose up at divergent interpretation and then tarry with a broad brush. Practice skepticism of the useful kind, as was my point before.

I said YOU were close (special), not that it was obvious (general).
>just say it
Why? What's stopping you from digging into the text?

ad hominem post

>>46011 (not him btw)
ironically,this is an ad hominem
inb4 what part :
"alleging smugness rings hollow as you turn your nose up at divergent interpretation and then tarry with a broad brush" is just an attack on his character and motivation, instead of at least thinking he's saying it in good faith

>What's stopping you from digging into the text?

5/10 ragebait

lol ofc the deltarune thread would be illiterate morons who dont know what fallacies even consist of

< Ad hominem refers to a type of argument that attacks a person's character or attributes instead of addressing the argument itself, while an insult is simply a derogatory remark about someone.

Is this a chud game? /v/ is claiming it as their own and it is quite popular and stuff as well. There is a 2016's feminist, a gay pedo and other stuff in the game as well from what I heard on the grapevine. Maybe this is the big chud hit of the decade. Binding of Isaac is also a major christfag game as well

the game is loaded with obscure lolcows lending their voices to the game

>>46008
the israeli(s) in question are ethan and hila klein as i've come to find out lmao

>>46015
Who at the likely time their audios were recorded were 'edgy South Park liberals' as someone in this thread beautifully put, very much not political figured at all before their podcast and instead Filthy Frank/iDubbbz types. Edmund probably thinks it's funny that this pisses people off because the dude is mentally 8 years old but it's not like they are getting royalties right

I just wanna know if the game is good before I go out of the way to pirate it. I'm kinda burned out of roguelites and metaprogression but I do like a good tactical RPG

Opinions on this game? Personally I think it’s a very amazing and well written piece of media

The Pink Valley is a Game Mod for Doom created by "vamvilodon".
You are a nameless man who wakes up one beautiful day, and decides to (maybe) visit his (possible) ex-girlfriend on a whim. What follows is a grim journey akin to Cry of Fear, that goes from bloodcurdlingly real horror, to mindbendingly surreal horror. This is not for the faint of heart.

Never Heard of it. I'll check it out, sounds interesting.

Time to finally learn how to mod doom

Incredible, incredible, incredible experience. Was my "game" of the year last year. The details are insane: there is a ton of shit hidden out of view or even the play area, as well as plenty of oddities in the assets and code.
Definitely not for everyone.

>cry of fear

Don't compare this to that piece of shit.

I hate all of it. The fans, the retarded looking oversized armor. Most of all I hate that it’s heavily focused on the American military. You never get to play as the Russian orcs or anything. No you always play as the US marines. Because it’s meant to be pro us military propaganda. Just like Starship Troopers hides behind fake bullshit “anti war” veil that doesn’t mean anything because it’s still a pro us military movie. Do you get to play as the bugs in the Starship Troopers game? Nope. Yeah it’s all chinlet us military propaganda. Same with that gay Helldivers game.

>but come on the new picture looks way cooler than the old one.

Nah

>>45953
As I said, I have no nostalgia for early 40k, my first contact with the franchise was Dawn of War. The second image looks AI generated, and I know it is not, but it is the uninspired mass produced generic fantasy/sci-fi art which constitutes bulk of datasets and are the reason why AI images look like that.

>>45977
nta but dawn of war is such a interesting case. In one hand you can tell theres a lot of parody aspects in it. But in the other hand you have characters like sturnn who is not really a parody character.

>>45991
Dawn of War is tonally not going for parody, but a violent saturday morning cartoon. Sturnn is a grizzled old general cliché. Basically Patton in SPAAAACE. His famous heroic speech is about how his men's greatest talent is dying, which I am not sure if it was intended as joke by writers, but still is funny because it is literally true in gameplay, imperial guard infantry is a trash cannon fodder worse than orc boyz. Their most iconic ability is shooting their own troops to regain morale!

>>45992
>violent saturday morning cartoon
oh, yeah that works. Finally i have a term for what dawn of war is. I was stuck in the is it parody, is it serious, or whatever. This term works

of course most /pol/tards side with caser's legion but looking at it almost every single faction is awful one way or the other, The NCR is literally a reboot of America that is in the middle of a manifest destiny, House is a egotistical maniac and probably appeals to Musk bros and Yes man is just a libertarian wet dream

I wish there was a Communist fork of Liberal Crime Squad, which is a game created by the Dwarf Fortress guy Tarn Adams way back during the Bush Era which has had multiple forks, but none which change the fundamental liberal pretenses. LCS is basically about building a network of clandestine cells to oppose an Arch-reactionary government, but it is fundamentally framed in terms of US liberal politics, which reveals its contradictions and ideological flaws. Tarn Adams also says he intended it as a GTA-style satire rather than something truly critical of the USA but I don't really believe that. I think he is "hiding his power level" which radlibs tend to do, to the extent that they have a power level at all. Someone made an update in 2024 that can be played in a web browser and posted it to the Dwarf Fortress forums, and while in some senses it updates it culturally from the Bush era, it still is fundamentally based on the same ideological pretenses.

booted it up the other day and had no fucking idea what I was doing. Like most agents of anarchy.

>>42574
I was a hardcore conservative back in the early to mid 2000's and this game played a big role in mentally aligning me to the left.
It's satirical to a point, sure, but it nudged me to re-frame how I saw certain issues.

>>42770
nah it really isn't that complicated.

>lcs is reactionary slop, the game was made by a fascist to mock the opposition to bush,

where's the proofs? obviously the game makes fun of the left a bit but they're clearly portrayed as the good guys overall

A video about a BOOK. A small but significant part of Gamer History. Space invaders. Slurs. Nintenkiddies are evergreen. Gorf is there. Remember Gorf? Don't lie. Don't. You always do this. Look mate, you don't have to impress anybody here. Besides, who's going to be impressed that you remember Gorf? Gorf's own mother doesn't even remember Gorf.

True vidkids only itt.

Has anyone here played space station 13 or 14?

Its this job simulator where you and about 50 other people try to keep a space station running while it is attacked by various antagonists from traitors, to changlings (which is basically the thing meets parasyte), to of course, revolutionaries which the attached image is describing.

the revolutionaries aren't actually communists, though. It is implied to be a color revolution set up by an enemy coorperation. the collapse of a 'third soviet union' is mentioned in passing in the backstory.

it's not clear how one builds this for Linux or if it's even possible. I guess one can use mono somehow? the documentation only suggests being used by VScode

Tetris effect

The Old World

Severed Steel is a pretty fun and easy movement shooter I played recently, seems great for drug gaming

In no particular order:

BeamNG.drive - Driving sim with very realistic crash physics and lots of mods. Plenty of way to goof off.

Baldur's Gate 3 - But it can be very complex and overwhelming immediately if you're not familiar with D&D 5E's rule set.

Cruelty Squad - First person shooter with a unique art style

Dave the Diver - Kind of like Motherload meets Diner Dash. Wasn't for me, but many people seem to like it

Dredge - Story-heavy fishing game

Subnautica - Open-world survival, but in the ocean

Embr - Co-op or solo firefighting game
Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

PowerWash Simulator - Pretty self-explanatory. Has surprisingly deep lore buried in the mission descriptions. Very satisfying to play.

Operation Deep Sneed edition

Made a new thread since the other one is full. You know the drill folks, gather here to discuss and/or complain about Hearts of Iron 4 and all the alt history mods that make the game relevant. From green natpops to sicko mode Savinkov we've got a lot of exciting stuff coming in the next Kaiserreich update, one which will make the LKMT look like pre-rework Germany by comparison. But dont worry TNOomers, you're getting some new content too! After a year and a half and three focus trees that only last for four years, we finally have something new and that's…

…three years of fucking Antarctica

i tried as a beginner on hoi4 modding to maybe develop a skeleton tree for amazonas PCdoB brazil, but i feel soo overwhelmed and annoyed by modding on this game and slightly angry i couldnt see a focus tree, tried also CWtools

>>45936
> slightly angry i couldnt see a focus tree
if you have vscode then hoi4 mod utilities could help with that, has a focus tree visualizer built in

>>45947
gonna try that, thanks
i have yet to design a focus tree skeleton for brazillian communists in TNO then a timed decision minigame for adhemar, democratic lacerda and the hardliner military paths

File: 1770846463704.png (221.68 KB, 595x928, ClipboardImage.png)

>>45954 (me)
ive done the focus tree, now i gotta make the events, decisions and other stuff to make it playable/triggerable and achievable, which i need tips, tried to pick TFR's alikhanov opposition minigame but it is too hard, plus writing the decisions feel more important than events
