Spellbinders | Winter Wonder Trio feat. Let It Snow + All Seasons Collection

Hello, crafty friends! I'm back with three cards featuring products from two of the many amazing new releases from Spellbinders! These feature products from both the Let It Snow Collection and Exclusive All Seasons Collection. If you missed my first post with this collection, please be sure to head THERE and see more inspiration for these new releases.

You can find all of the products from this release by clicking HERE or on the banner above, as well as products from so many other releases that I've been sharing with you over the last couple of weeks.

Of course, I had to use these adorable Playful Penguins from the Let It Snow Collection right away because, how could I not?! I just love the different variations and especially their accessories.

I actually created many variations of these penguins because I couldn't stop playing with them! This colour palette of Cupcake, Salt Water Taffy, Cookie Monster, Plum Punch and Eggplant lends itself so well to switching up the colours for each penguin.

I used Glitter Purple Foam Sheets for the reindeer nose and Silver Glitter Cardstock for the bows on the present and wreath to give this card a bit of sparkle.

To create the background, I used the largest of the Arch Labels and Tag Dies, then created texture with the Sparkling Snow 3D Embossing Folder but didn't emboss the bottom inch so it would be easier to glue the sentiment.

I also added a strip of Plum Punch cardstock to anchor the sentiment, which was cut from Handwritten Holiday Sentiments using Eggplant cardstock. To finish, I popped on the penguins using foam squares.

My second card features the negative snowflakes from another card that you'll see on the Spellbinders Blog using the positive piece from Frozen Flurries, again from the Let It Snow Collection.

The snowflakes and overall piece was created using a Gel Printing Plate, small brayer and ink colours you'll find in the visual supply list below. Originally, I attempted to create the background using ink colours that matched the cardstock I used but that ink kept beading so I switched to a different brand that spread beautifully with the brayer.

I used the largest of the Precision Layering A2 A Dies to cut the base panel from White Glitter cardstock before painstakingly glueing all of the snowflakes in their respective positions using a vellum template of Frozen Flurries.

The large winter sentiment is from the Four Seasons Dies, cut from Plum Punch and Eggplant cardstock. The secondary sentiment from the All Seasons Winter Press Plate & Die Set was heat foiled on Onyx cardstock using Matte Silver Hot Foil.

The White Glitter cardstock is hard to photograph but I just love all the shimmer on on this card and hope you do, too!

My last card features the Layering Snowflakes from the Let It Snow Collection with a sentiment from the All Seasons Winter Press Plate & Die Set.

From small to large, I used White GlitterPlum Punch and Eggplant cardstock for the snowflakes, plus  Silver Glitter cardstock for the shadow which gives this card its sparkly element.

Again, I used the largest of the Precision Layering A2 A Dies to cut the base panel from Lily White Gingham paper in the Doodlebug 12x12 Gingham and Linen Petite Prints, available at Spellbinders.

After glueing the stack of snowflakes to the patterned paper base panel, I added a sentiment from the All Seasons Winter Press Plate & Die Set, also heat foiled on Onyx cardstock using Matte Silver Hot Foil. I had a hard time choosing a sentiment for this card because so many of them from that set worked well with this design. It would be so easy to create a set of cards in this same design but with different sentiments!

If you're made it here, thank you for reading through this photo-heavy post. I love sharing lots of photos and I hope the different designs inspire you to purchase these products or perhaps create similar cards. Please tag me on social media if you do!

I'd love to know what you think of the Let It Snow and Exclusive All Seasons Collections! There are so many amazing new releases this month and I hope you'll check them out. I appreciate you stopping by and, if you're inspired, please shop my affiliate links below. Spellbinders would love to know that you were inspired by me. Thanks so much for your continued support!

VIDEO | Taylored Expressions | 4 Cards feat. Create-in-Quad Peaceful Pines + Foil It Winter Blessings

Taylored Expressions has released the next in the Create-in-Quads Layering Stencils and you're going to love it! I'm thrilled to be introducing Create-in-Quads Peaceful Pines, the eighth of the Create-in-Quads series.

I'm sharing four cards in my video. They all feature the Create-in-Quads Peaceful Pines, Foil It Winter Blessings sentiment panels and coordinating Winter Blessings Dies. Three of the cards feature a portrait design and one has a landscape design. I selected Pink Champagne, Guava, Spearmint, Poblano Pepper and Chocolate Truffle inks for my stencilling. I love this pretty, non-traditional colour combo for holiday/winter cards!

After the stencilling was complete, I used my Mini Minc Foil Applicator with Deco Foil Sheets in Scattered Stars to create the stunning sentiments. They were then cut out using the coordinating Winter Blessings Dies. You can also find the original Winter Blessings sentiments HERE or in this video.

I love the way the Scattered Stars look on those letters! They provide so much dept to the sentiments and the sparkle adds that wow factor. I love how full this first panel looks with all the trees and snow.

After stencilling the snow very lightly with Spearmint ink, I added Happy Medium in Iridescent Glitter on top. It adds dimension and a festive sparkle which I love!

This second card also uses the Frame-in-Frame 3 Die, a former freebie but now available for purchase. I popped it up with foam strips and I love the way the snow extends up and over that frame.

This third card uses the largest of the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets, another favourite and often-used die in my stash. I love the detail it adds without bulk or distraction.

One other feature I added to all four cards was the use of the Gathered Stars Die cut from Pineapple cardstock. I used five different sizes of stars on the different cards and topped some of the trees with them. The pop of yellow is a pretty addition to the pink and teal trees.

My last card features both the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, the latter of which was cut diagonally from vellum and matte silver foil

Thanks so much for watching!

Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler Designs | December 2021 | Part 4 of 4

Today's inspiration is for Catherine Pooler's Basic Club Sursee and Deluxe Club Sursee subscribers with the December 2021 surprises. If you missed my previous posts HERE, HERE and HERE featuring the Warm and Cozy and Classic Adornments stamp sets, I hope you'll check them out!

Today's card also features the Warm Wishes Word Die, which is only included in the Deluxe Club Sursee subscription, along with the coordinating dies for the Warm and Cozy stamp set with the amazing thermoses. The Classic Adornments stamp set is filled with gorgeous florals and accent stamps. I rarely use all the tiny stamps this way but after making this card, I'm going to have to do it more often!

I created a front window panel and mask using the Nested Oval Dies, then stamped all of the flowers from Classic Adornments and the small berries from Warm and Cozy. As with all my cards for this month's Sursee, the colours were inspired by the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper pack.

I die cut the Warm Wishes Word Die three times, using Juniper Mist and the ink-to-paper technique on the top layer, silver glitter cardstock for the shadow and an extra layer beneath that for added dimension.

If you're not already subscribed, I hope you'll consider subscribing to either Basic Club Sursee (two stamp sets) or Deluxe Club Sursee (two stamp sets and two dies) because these monthly kits never disappoint!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler Designs | December 2021 | Part 3 of 4

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Today's inspiration is for Catherine Pooler's Basic Club Sursee or Deluxe Club Sursee subscribers with the December 2021 surprises. As I mentioned in my previous posts HERE and HERE featuring the Warm and Cozy and Classic Adornments stamp sets, this month's theme is warm winter wishes, get well and general encouragement.

This card uses more of the beautiful thermoses and a sweet sentiment from the Warm and Cozy, plus layered floral stamps from Classic Adornments. Again, my colour choices were inspired by the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper pack. The thermoses and holly were stamped previously when I made my first card.

I cut the panel using the Scallops & Dots Dies, then glued it on an additional layer for just a bit of dimension. Before attaching the thermoses and holly with foam tape, I stamped the flowers and sentiment in my mini MISTI stamping tool.

This card is a great way to combine the two stamp sets included in both the Club Sursee and Deluxe Club Sursee subscriptions. I hope you're enjoying your December surprises and finding new ways to use these beautiful stamp sets!

I'll be back soon with a closer look at one more card I made with these stamps and dies. If you're not already subscribed, I hope you'll consider subscribing because these monthly kits never disappoint.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
