Wes Craven is truly a Brillant director, he created so much cult classic horror that we love and enjoy today. It's incredible how this film revived the entire slasher genre, I think the whole mystery thing had something to do with it. It's also amazing how this film inspires other films, it shows how big of an impact this had to writers and directors.
My first time I watched this film I caught on who the killers were. Billy and stu wear the same shoes, which gives them away. It's an interesting clue because you actually got to analyze what they wear.
Wes Craven casted this film so well. Neve Campbell is an amazing actor; I couldn't imagine a better actor for the job. I really enjoy that Courtney Cox is in this franchise, I love her in friends. David Arquette also did an amazing job. The best performance was definitely Matthew Lillard, it was just so top notch. I love how Wes Craven gave himself a role and he was dressed up as one of his best cult classic character Freddy Kruger.
