We are very pleased to have our Let's Squash It!! Empress joining us as our guest designer this month.  Please welcome Marianne.

Hi, I'm a Dutch native living in Greece and I'm so happy to be making a guest appearance here! Thank you, Gail and Jo, for inviting me! I'm a hoarder of all things crafty, including embossing folders, so I'm really happy to have found this place where I'm encouraged to use my embossing folders more. I lean towards a clean and simple style, but also like to get inky sometimes. Fortunately, embossing folders work either way. I had fun creating this card and hope it will inspire you to get your embossing folders out and join in the fun!

Hugs,
Marianne x

We are very pleased to have our Let's Squash It!! Empress joining us as our guest designer this month.  Please welcome Marlena from Marlena is Faithfully Crafting.

"Hi my name is Marlena McDeavitt. I have the honor of being a guest designer at Let's Squash It. My online name is Marlenaisfaithfullycrafting at blogger and I've been creating since 2011 as faithfully as I can! I'm a Jesus follower, mother of three young ladies and wife of a supportive husband. I'm surprised I've stuck with one main craft (stamping) for so long! I wasn't sure how long I'd stamp cards, since I like to try new crafts now and again. I feel the stamping community has been so supportive and the market is always evolving, so there's room to grow as a designer. Thank you for having me here!"

Challenge #5 - More Inspiration

Hi there, Squashettes, Gail here today with some more inspiration for the current challenge. Usually I'd be saying you have another week to join the fun, but short February gives you only four more days, so grab those embossing folders and share the love.

I've made a Mothers Day card using Couture Creations Butterfly Hugs embossing folder.

I started by embossing a piece of Craft Creations Daisy print designer card with the Butterfly Hugs embossing folder.

I used Carnation archival ink to highlight the embossed areas.  I just gently rubbed the ink pad over the embossed panel.  A little ink got on the flat areas and created a pretty pink.  I added a red metallic brad and a red base card before adding the stamped sentiment panel.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you join us with your love themed folders and red/pink.

Jo and I try to visit all your entries and leave a little love.  Whilst visiting we notice that there are very few comments from other players.  So we have added a rool that you must comment on the two entries before yours in the linky.  Let's share some extra love with our fellow crafters in these strange times.

So, Challenge #4
And this month's theme is

Use any Embossing Folder AND an Animal

This month we want to see any embossing folders and include an animal.  The animal can be part of your embossing folder or you can add one with stamps, dies, stickers or any other method.   Anything from the animal kingdom is acceptable.  Please remember to use both parts of the challenge and check Da Roolz to make sure your entry qualifies for the prize.  **New rool added 9th January**

Please check Da Roolz before you link up your makes.  We are a card challenge.  You must use a named embossing folder.  Other types of embossing are allowed to enhance your project but you must use a named embossing folder.  Both parts of the challenge must be included and also be the focus of your project.  Did we mention the embossing folder???

This months randomly selected winner will be able to choose a prize from the

Let's Squash It! Prize Vault
