Crepe Paper Wisteria Member Make Video Workshop
So Wisterious
We’re so excited to dive into this month’s Member Make! In keeping with this month’s focus word flow, we’re capturing the graceful, cascading beauty of wisteria — a flower practically dripping with charm and timeless romance. Join us on Friday, July 18 at 12 noon PST to craft and connect as we create these dreamy Crepe Paper Wisteria blooms together.
Goodies You Can't Google
You've found a premium project. But for less than the price of a fancy coffee... You'll get instant access to this and over 2,000 other premium projects inside the Lia Griffith membership!
Become a MemberAs much as we love creating step-by-step tutorials to help guide your craft journey, our Member Make workshops remain our favorite way to slow down and share in the creative process with you. During our live video tutorial, you’ll pick up helpful tips for shaping each delicate petal, blending your pastels for soft shading, and seeing how every piece flows together naturally to create this beautiful Crepe Paper Wisteria.
Wisteria’s trailing clusters of sweetly-colored blossoms are unforgettable in the wild. Whether draping over gardens, temples, or backyard arbors, this flowering vine has captivated imaginations for centuries. Native to Asia and also parts of North America, wisteria comes in shades of white, lilac, pink, and purple and is loved for its sweet perfume. Unsurprisingly, wisteria has come to symbolize long-lasting love and the beauty that grows when you simply let life do its thing.
In our quest to recreate Wisteria's gorgeous color palette and drape, we’ll use our signature crepe paper in Lilac, Fern, Green Tea, and Cypress. If you’d like everything bundled up and ready to go, grab our Member Make Bundle. However, if you'd prefer to gather your materials yourself, that works too!
So bring your favorite beverage, your burning questions, and we’ll handle the rest! And when your Crepe Paper Wisteria is complete, don’t forget to share it with your family, friends, and fellow crafters using #MemberMake.

Leave a CommentThese turned out so beautifully! I used a Prisma colored pencil for the yellow as I didn’t have the paint marker yet. It worked very well.
Great! I love it when there are multiple ways to create!
I have tried everything I know to watch the Wisteria video. I have all the pieces cut and ready. Cannot get the video to open. Please help. First time I’ve had this problem.
Hmmm. The video is working on our end. Maybe refresh your browser and make sure you have enough bandwidth to play a video? Are you clicking on the arrow in the left hand corner?
I can not down the Wisteria can you help me?
When you click the download button, the zipped file will be saved to your computer’s download folder. If it is labeled .zip, double-click to extract the files into a new folder, where you should be able to find all the files inside. Please let me know if you are still experiencing trouble.
Beautiful as always, I’m so excited for next month!!!!
You and me both!! 🙂
Looking forward to today’s member make. I have made Visterias in the past, but with cardstock. Am eager to learn this with crepe paper. Have always been wondering if it could be made with crepe paper.
Yay! Look forward to having you there! I am excited to learn this flower along with you.
I’m sure looking forward to making this wisteria, especially since I recently found out it’s one of my kids’ favorite flowers! I’m probably going to be late to (or miss) the live broadcast, but I’ll watch the replay!
We will miss you! I will be using it for the arrangement class this month.
Not a big deal but you may want to edit the pdf template. It has the leaves in lilac. 😉
Thank you! The PDF Template has been updated.
