Adding `os` library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add os

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

os = "0.1.0"

The os library will be automatically available globally. Read the os library documentation.

The module uses the following command line tools and assumes they are installed on your system.

Get the kernel name and os name.
