Executive Vice President
Colliers
Darren Leiderman is an executive vice president in the Long Island operations of Colliers, a global commercial real estate firm. Leiderman, whose specialties include landlord and tenant representation, and strategic planning, has spent his entire real estate career with Colliers and its Long Island predecessor company, Sutton & Edwards, which he joined in 1996.
From early in his career, Leiderman has distinguished himself through his comprehensive understanding of the economics involved in real estate transactions. His strength in financial analysis allows him to provide value-added service to his clients, and his intimate knowledge of all aspects of real estate deal structure allows him to bring invaluable input to the negotiating table.
Over the course of his career, Leiderman has represented many prestigious companies and organizations, including Northwell Health, Emblem Health, Pall Corp. and Personal Touch Home Care. Leiderman also represents many prominent landlords in the market.
Leiderman was part of a Colliers team that took home the Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award from the Association for a Better Long Island and Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island in 2017, for the sale of the 272,000-square-foot former headquarters of Pall Corp. in Port Washington to Kiss Nail Products. He has also received multiple honors from LIBN and has been named a CoStar Power Broker on several occasions. Accolades from his employer have included the Colliers Everest award, which recognizes top producers and of which Leiderman is a 12-time recipient.
