Well, almost everybody would agree that Master Control is by far the best album of Liege Lord but I really love Burn to My Touch too. Not a true masterpiece but an honest and powerful album without which the band wouldn't have reached the musicianship level of their third, final and unbeatable album...
Favorite track: Cast Out.

A churning, smoky, and doomed affair. Gone is much of the adventurous, sword-and-sorcery battle hymn of Forever Black and earlier; this is a trudging march of grim and dark resolve. A well-chosen album name. This was a different direction than I expected, so I will have to screw my head on right to give it a re-listen, but I think it will please even more. Many of the melodies take shadowy turns of half-tone tension, evoking the dire fate hanging overhead as mighty heavy lyrics damn you.
