Air Fryer Steak Bites are juicy morsels of beef that are bursting with flavor. These delicious bites are cooked in the air fryer and ready in just minutes!

What does every meat lover crave most? That’s right, steak! My Air Fryer Steak Bites are an easy and convenient way to prepare steak without having to turn on the oven or grill. These little bites are so delicious and easy to make. Once you’ve prepared these flavorful gems, add them to a wide range of other recipes. They are low carb and packed with protein, and irresistible if you ask me!

AIR FRYER STEAK BITES

Juicy, marbled steak is cut into bite sized pieces and baked in the air fryer, then tossed in a heavenly garlic butter sauce. There is no required time to marinate the bites. They are ready in just minutes- perfect for a quick lunch or easy dinner!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ lbs. sirloin steak (or use your favorite cut of steak)
  • ½ Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon freshly chopped parsley (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Cut the steak in 1-inch pieces. Place the steak bites in a large bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and season with a pinch each of salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Place the steak bites into the air fryer basket and spread out evenly in one layer.

Air Fry for 4 to 6 minutes, or until steak is cooked to your desired temperature. You do not need to flip them while they’re cooking.

Meanwhile, melt the salted butter in a large skillet. Add the garlic and cook over medium heat until fragrant. Add the Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and cooked steak bites to skillet. Stir the steak bites into the garlic butter sauce for about one minute.

Remove from heat and sprinkle on the chopped parsley (if desired.) Serve bites immediately and enjoy!

CUTS OF MEAT

There are so many delicious cuts of steak for you to cube up and enjoy. The one that I recommend that is flavorful and budget friendly is sirloin. It also cooks evenly very well when cut up. Other cuts you can use are ribeye, skirt steak, hanger, or filet.

STEAK TEMPERATURES

Everyone has a preference of how they like their steak. If you prefer one temperature, and your kids or spouse like another, just take out a portion of bites that have reached a lower desired temperature and leave the rest in to cook longer. The Lofthouse gang loves to eat their Steak Bites medium. This way they cooked through with a good amount of juice and flavor and in each bite.

  • Medium rare (pink)- 130-135 degrees F.
  • Medium (some pink)- 145-145 degrees F.
  • Well (scarce pink)- 145-155 degrees F.
  • Well done (brown)- 155-165 degrees F.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH STEAK BITES

The options here are virtually limitless! If you have an imagination, and an appetite, then you can do so many things with these bits of meat. You can serve them over rice served with veggies. You can make a simple salad and make it incredible with the addition of these picks of meat. Wrap them up in a tortilla with veggies, cheese, and dressing for a quick and healthy lunch.

MEAL PREP

These are delicious little morsels to cook for meal prep at the beginning of the week. They are a great addition of flavor and protein to salads, wraps, served over rice, or with an array of fresh vegetables.

REHEATING

When you are ready to warm up the steak bites, I highly recommend tossing them in a warm pan for only 30 seconds to 1-minute and 30 seconds. Since the bites are so small it doesn’t take too much heat to get everything hot again. Also, you don’t want to overcook them.

AIR FRYER TIPS

Preheat the air fryer.
It’s important to preheat the air fryer just as you would an oven. This will ensure the food cooks evenly.
Don’t over crowd the basket.
The most important rule in my opinion! When the air fryer basket is overfilled it makes it hard for the air to circulate and will make the food soggy and unevenly cooked.
