Boots of Travel is an item purchasable at the Base Shop, under Accessories. It can be upgraded by purchasing the recipe again.

Additional Information
[edit]- Upgrading the item improves the passive Teleport Upgrade. Can be upgraded only once.
- The total gold cost for each level is 2500/
.
- Movement speed bonuses from multiple pairs of Boots of Speed-based items do not stack, the one with a higher value takes priority.
- Stacks with all other movement speed bonuses.
- Alt shows your allied heroes' teleport status and cooldowns under their portraits below the top bar of the HUD.
- The icon shows their current cooldown on their teleport. If the ally has no teleport item, no icon appears. If it is in the backpack, it appears grey.
- The teleport status display has the following priorities: Boots of Travel 2 ➤ Boots of Travel ➤ Town Portal Scroll.
- The teleport status does not show other teleport abilities (e.g. Teleportation).

Passive

Passively upgrades Town Portal Scroll. Prevents them from being consumed when used, sets the channel time to a fixed value that does not increase with subsequent teleports, and lowers the cooldown.
Additionally, allows targeting and directly teleporting to any allied non-hero unit.

Refunds all Town Portal Scrolls the hero currently has equipped, using the regular sellback value. After that, grants the hero a new Town Portal Scroll for free.
Further upgrades the Town Portal Scroll, reducing its channel time and allowing it to additionally target allied heroes.

- Town Portal Scroll refunding mechanics:
- The refunding triggers when Boots of Travel enters the hero's main inventory for the first time.
- Does not trigger when in the backpack, the stash, or in the Courier's inventory.
- Triggers a second time upon upgrading the Boots of Travel, following the same rules as before.
- The refunding is bound to the item, not the hero. Acquiring Boots of Travel a second time triggers it again.
- Disassembling and Reassembling Boots of Travel triggers it again as well, since it is considered a new item.
- The refunding mechanic only considers Town Portal Scrolls within the dedicated slot.
- Scrolls within the stash or on the ground are ignored and not refunded.
- The refund value is based on the current sellback value: (100
- The refunding triggers when Boots of Travel enters the hero's main inventory for the first time.
- Free Town Portal Scroll
- The free Town Portal Scroll can be sold, but has no sellback value.
- While owning Boots of Travel, the hero does not get the free Town Portal Scroll upon dying.
- Only checks the hero's main inventory, the backpack, and the stash.
- Does not check for Boots of Travel on the ground, or in other inventories (i.e. Courier).

Recommended Heroes
[edit]- Along with the Tempest Double, Boots of Travel gives Arc Warden presence in two lanes, and helps him farm more quickly.
Others
[edit]Heroes with high split pushing potential should always consider Boots of Travel.
Tips
[edit]- Boots of Travels is useful on all heroes during the late game, where it is needed to make desperate pushes or defenses, especially if one or both teams are dead or away from their bases.
- Consider using Glyph of Fortification to prevent creeps from dying so Boots of Travel can complete channeling of Teleport.
