[edit]- This item is shown as a Team Item in the shop window when purchased by an ally.
- If an Orchid Malevolence was purchased as well, Bloodthorn's icon takes priority.
- The item's attributes grant the following additional stats:
- 300 mana, 1.25 mana regeneration and 2.5% flat base magic resistance.
- 25 main attack damage to
heroes.
- 11.25 main attack damage to universal heroes.

- The damage counter accumulates all damage instances dealt to the Soul Rend target within the last 5 seconds.
- The accumulated damage is based on the actual damage taken, after all damage manipulation is applied.
- Does not include damage with the HP Removal or the no-reflection flag (e.g. Blade Mail).
- The damage is summed up into and applied as a single instance at the end of the duration, sourced to the caster of Soul Rend.
- The accumulated is only applied if the debuff expires naturally, it does not trigger if the debuff gets
dispelled.
- Re-casting Soul Rend on the same target refreshes the duration, but does not reset the already accumulated damage.
- All of the caster's units have full accuracy against the target, preventing their attacks from missing.
- The attack-based bonus damage is dealt in a separate damage instance, and counts as spell damage.
- This means it is not affected or considered by anything that works with attack damage.
- The bonus damage is applied to all incoming attacks, including attacks from buildings, wards, and allies.
- The source of the damage is the Bloodthorn caster, not the attacker itself, and thus utilises the caster's spell amplification and spell lifesteal sources.
