magic resistance sources.
- With Insight Aura, the item grants a total of the following bonuses to its wielder:
- Increases the wielder's magic resistance to 70%.
- Every 10 points of intelligence further increases the total magic resistance by 0.4% for the wielder.

- This item's name is based on Khadgar's Pipe of Insight from Warcraft 3.
- In DotA, the item is named Khadgar's Pipe of Insight as well as well. Khadgar is a character from the Warcraft universe.
- In Dota 2, it was shortened to just Pipe of Insight, to avoid copyright issues with "Blizzard Entertainment".
