Spell Redirection redirects an offensive unit-targeted ability from the intended targeted unit to another unit.

Mechanics
[edit]- Spell Redirection sources have the
MODIFIER_PROPERTY_REDIRECT_SPELLdecorator. - The mechanic causes the offensive
unit-targeted ability and its effects on the intended enemy target to be shared with its allied unit. Upon proc, most of the shared abilities will ignore the
cast range on the secondary target with its ability notes and restrictions applied.
- When the conditions are met for the Spell Redirection proc, the unit-targeted ability will be simultaneously cast to both the primary and the secondary target visually regardless if the ability is
projectile-based.
- However, the ability is always first cast on the primary target.
- Does not additionally proc on-cast effects.

- Redirected spells are still subject to
Spell Block and
Spell Reflection, but not other sources of Spell Redirection.

- Consume a single charge per ability cast per Spell Redirection source proc.
- The following sources do not proc Spell Redirection sources:
