MFT Stamps • February Release Countdown Day 2

24.02.2024

Hello sweet friends,

it's Countdown Day 2 for the My Favorite Things February Release. Make sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for some product sneaks and inspiring DT projects.

On today's CAS birthday card, I combined the Smart Mask - Horizontal Diagonal High/Low Strip Stencil with one of the cuties from the JB Birthday Bites Stamp & Die Duo.

I started off with a white landscape card base measuring a bit less than the regular A2 size. I trimmed down another white cardstock panel to the same size and temporarily attached the stencil to it. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides in a pastel cotton candy color scheme (Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet). The sentiment from the Essential Birthday Messages set was stamped in VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the kitty with the cake in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut it out. For a bit of dimension, I adhered it with foam tape. I finished off the card with a small aqua heart die-cut.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a gorgeous day!

MFT Stamps • February Release Countdown Day 1

23.02.2024

Hi everyone,

today we're kicking off the Countdown to the My Favorite Things February Release. The new products will be available on Tuesday, February 27th at 10 am EST.

For my first preview project, I picked the adorable JB Monkey Around Stamp & Die Duo to create a colorful birthday card.

I started off with a white A2 card base. For my layout I used the Blueprints 29 Die-namics. I die cut the large rectangle panel from one of the MSTN Rainbow Plaid papers and the stitched frame twice from Cornflower Card Stock. The inside pieces of the frame were cut from white cardstock. I added some soft ink blending with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina to the top half and inlaid the rectangles back inside the frame openings.

Next, I stamped the monkeys and cake in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and popped them up with thin foam squares. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink to the left corner of the bottom rectangle.

Happy Monday everyone,

the My Favorite Things Vault is opening up again! So happy to see that they are bringing back some of their basic Die-namics sets which will be essentials in your craft stash. All the products will be available tomorrow at 10 am EDT.

I created a circle shaped card with the Stitched Circle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics and the JB Cupigs Stamp & Die Duo from the January Release.

First, I made a card base from white cardstock using the 4 1/2" circle die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics set. Next, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (top half: Saltwater Taffy, Tattered Rose; bottom half: Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass).

The stitched circle scallop edge frame was die cut from Kraft Card Stock twice to make it a bit more sturdy. I backed it with a Sno Cone Card Stock circle and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the sweet images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. The left piggy and clouds were adhered inside the circle frame. While the bird and other pig were popped up with foam tape.

Hi everyone,

it's here! You can now order this month's My Favorite Things Jenoblade Release. Be quick to get your hands on 5 new incredibly cute designs!

Today's birthday card features the sweet JB Tea Party Pals Stamp & Die Duo. My favorite image is the little bear sitting inside the cup.

I picked one of the patterned papers from the Joyful Plaid Paper Pad and cut it out with the largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics set. Next, I cut out a window with one of the Inside & Out Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics. I used the same die to cut an oval from white cardstock. I masked off a good half of the top and blended on Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink at the bottom. I inlaid the oval into the plaid patterned paper and stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

The images were stamped in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. Finally, I adhered them to the oval.

Hi crafty friends,

the fabulous My Favorite Things What's Cookin' Card Kit is now available for purchase. The price for this coordinated collection of products is 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

I used several of the die sets to create another kitchen scene, this time on a square card. For some extra sweetness, I added the adorable kitty from the JB Kitchen Cuties stamp set.

I started off with a white card base and trimmed down one of the Diagonal Gingham Papers to be a bit smaller. Onto another white square panel, I did some masking and ink blending with Distress Oxides (Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, Lost Shadow).

The metallic parts were cut from Brushed Silver Card Stock.

I stamped the little cat in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored the image with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. Hello everyone,

today we're shining a spotlight on the winter themed My Favorite Things November Release that went live yesterday.

Look at these adorable cuties from the JB Snow Happy stamp set! In the background I used the Heavy Snowfall Stencil.

First, I created a top-folding card base from Tropical Teal Card Stock which is slightly bigger than A2. Onto a white cardstock panel I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio). When the background was completely dry, I went over it with the stencil and white pigment ink for a subtle look. For the snowy hill, I used one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and applied Salvaged Patina Ink to the top edge.

Next, I stamped the snowmen as well as the gorgeous tree in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.
