# Liveblocks pricing

Liveblocks provides the realtime infrastructure to handle concurrent edits on shared data, so people and AI agents can collaborate without breaking your app.

## How pricing works

Every plan includes a monthly bundle of **credits** that apply toward metered infrastructure usage (collaboration minutes, comments, storage, notifications, and file storage). Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

- **Free:** No base price. Each meter has a hard included cap; when exceeded, that feature pauses until the next cycle.
- **Pro and Team:** A fixed monthly base price includes a credit bundle. Usage beyond credits is billed at the same pay-as-you-go (PAYG) rates with no markup.
- **Enterprise:** Custom pricing, credit allocations, and volume discounts.
- **Annual billing:** Pro and Team annual plans include 2 months free (pay for 10 months, get 12).

## Team plan tiers

Team offers five credit tiers. Higher tiers include more monthly credits; annual billing saves 2 months.

## Metered usage rates

These rates apply on Pro and Team once monthly credits are consumed. Free uses the included amounts as hard caps instead.

## What you'll pay

**Formula:** `monthly bill = base plan price + max(0, metered usage cost − monthly credits) + extra dashboard seats`

Dashboard seats beyond the included count on Team cost **$10/seat/month**. Free and Pro include a hard limit of 3 seats with no additional seat overage.

**Example (Pro, $30/month credits):** If you use only collaboration minutes at $0.002 per minute, your credits cover **15,000 minutes** before overage. If you use only comments at $0.01 per comment, credits cover **3,000 comments**. Mixed usage draws from the same credit pool at each meter's PAYG rate.

On **Free**, each meter has a hard cap (see table above). When a cap is reached, that feature pauses until the next billing cycle. On **Pro** and **Team**, usage continues and overage is billed at the same PAYG rates.

Same metered rates as Pro. **10** dashboard seats included (**$10/seat/mo** overage). SAML SSO, SOC 2, and private Slack included. **50** simultaneous connections per room, **90 days** version history.
- **Enterprise:** For organizations with premium security and partnership needs. Custom credits and allocations. **100** simultaneous connections per room. Multi-region hosting, Management API, SCIM, advanced permissions, volume discounts, premium support.

All plans include: Realtime Infrastructure and collaboration features like Multiplayer, Comments, AI Collaboration, AI Copilots, and Notifications.

Collaboration minutes measure time when two or more people or agents are in the same room together. Each connected user-minute counts. Two users in a room for 5 minutes is 10 collaboration minutes, billed at $0.002 each.
