BNY’s A Bank Like No Other Picture Book

In anticipation of the 250th birthday of the United States, the Bank of New York published a special picture book that illustrates their history supporting the country from 1784 through today. Author and BNY employee, Brett Moyer, wrote the book and I brought his vision to life with illustrations. I also assisted by laying out the design of the book. A Bank Like No Other consists of 30 story pages with 15 interior illustrations and hand-lettered drop caps on each page of text. We primarily used the bank’s extended color palette across all illustrations to underscore their presence in the story. This project spanned two and a half months from kick-off to press, making it just in time for gifting during the 2025 holiday season.
