These Days Are Gone is my favorite track of the year so far. Very cool how the song manages to switch between melodic parts and very rough and untouched instrumental parts. Fortunately, it's not just this single song on the album that I come back to regularly.

I bought this album expecting doom, got an album full of eclectic heavy rock that is closer to American bands like Mastodon than British Doom ala Cathedral. Still, the vocals are absolutely gorgeous, the production is lush and punchy, the melodies ebb and flow. This album is a like a warm blanket on a cold winter's evening. And yes, there are nods to that classic British doom sound dispersed throughout the album. Not quite what I had expected, but a fantastic album nonetheless.

Icelandic Stoner / Doom Metal. Like all musical things & so much more from this country this is practically perfect! I am not a great fan of stoner & sludge in general but this is a really good one that you shouldn't miss! Very intelligently done & never gets boring in any way! Some lyrics would make it all *even* better... :) Cannot easily pick a favourite... Thanks ISR & Jack! Recommended!
