Thomas the Tank Engine is a fictional, anthropomorphic tank locomotive who originated from the British children's books The Railway Series, created and written by Wilbert Awdry with his son Christopher, first published in 1945.
Thomas debuted in the 1946 book Thomas the Tank Engine—the second book in The Railway Series—and was the focus of the four short stories featured within.
In 1979, British writer and producer Britt Allcroft came across the books, and arranged a deal to make the television series Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends (later rebranded as Thomas & Friends). The programme became an award-winning hit around the world, with a range of spin-off commercial products. Since then, Thomas has become commonly-known in popular culture.

Jean DuShon...Feeling Good.

Its great when you get to hear a new voice that you have not heard before and its a good one !...And here is a fine example !!.....Cheers for that Luc !

Jean DuShon (born Anna Jean Harris, later Atwell, August 16, 1935 – July 19, 2019) was an African American jazz and R&B singer, and stage actor. She was best known for her recordings in the 1960s, including the first released recording of the song "For Once in My Life" in 1966, although many had not heard her version, and assumed the original recording was by Stevie Wonder.

Mary Poppins...Film Soundtrack.

Another soundtrack from New Zealand !....via JohnF....Cheers John !

Mary Poppins is the original cast soundtrack album for Walt Disney's 1964 musical film of the same name, the album features music and lyrics by the Sherman Brothers (Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman), performed by Julie Andrews in her Oscar-winning role as the magical nanny, alongside Dick Van Dyke, Glynis Johns, and David Tomlinson.
The soundtrack became a cultural phenomenon, topping the Billboard LP chart for 14 weeks and selling over 2.3 million copies within its first year. Its success was propelled by iconic songs like "Chim Chim Cher-ee" (which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song), "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", and the poignant "Feed the Birds (Tuppence a Bag)"—Walt Disney's personal favorite. The album sold over 6 million copies up to 1968.

Yma Sumac...Miracles.

If you like unusual then have a listen to this..Its Great !!

Fantastic! This is Yma Sumac's rock album from the early 70's – and it's got a wild sound that's totally different from any of her work at Capitol! The record includes lots of electric instrumentation, and Yma's voice moves from the exotic to the psychedelic, as she sings along with some great organ/guitar small group backing produced by Les Baxter. Sounds weird at first, but it's great, and almost a bit funky!
Miracles re-unites the extraordinary five-octave voice of Peru's Yma Sumac with Les Baxter, the producer of her first album, "The Voice of Xtabay" (released in 1950). Acclaimed for her powerful and unique artistry, Miss Sumac achieved world fame during the Fifties with the use of Mr. Baxter's productions. He has chosen to record Yma in a contemporary setting with a four-piece rock band and modern recording techniques. The results are a stunning showcase for an unparalleled performer.
Yma is an adventurous musician. She has conquered many modes, from Peruvian folksongs, through operatic arias, as well as popular Latin songs and international folk music. Now, in her very unique way, she tackles rock....an improvisational tour de force.
