  • 1978 Wrestling Rookie of the Year, 1st runner-up.
  • Also held the Pacific Northwest heavyweight and tag team titles, the U.S. tag title (Florida version), and the Mid-Atlantic tag title on four occasions.
  • Alter ego was the brooding 'Renegade' character. After being beaten down in a storyline, Youngblood returned to his New Mexico Indian Reservation to "awaken his spirits." In many ways, the character was the predecessor to 'The Crow' by some five years.
  • Held the World tag team championship (Jim Crockett Promotions version) on five occasions with Richard Blood (aka "Ricky Steamboat").
  • Son Daniel is an aspiring wrestler.
  • Son of wrestling legend Ricky Romero. Brother of wrestlers Mark and Chris Romero (Youngblood).
  • After he was helped backstage, he suffered a series of heart attacks. He was only 30 years old.
  • Unconfirmed reports say that he suffered the ruptured spleen in a tag match with Mark against The Sheepherders.
  • In early 1985, He competed in the AWA, Florida & Memphis areas.
  • September 1, 1985: He died tragically while touring the South Pacific.
