    In the Pink

These are great fun. Our boy is butting heads with an astronomer. The little guy is just trying to observe the moon when TPP decides to build a house on a bluff in front of his telescope. This leads to a series of quid pro quo things between the two. It's really pretty funny.

    A Room with a View!

The Pink Panther buy a land on top of a mountain, with a spectacular view of the moon, and builds a house there. However, he constantly is interrupted by a man working at a nearby space observatory as he keeps using a gigantic telescope in attempts to look at the moon, hitting the panther's house in the process. What results is a hilarious duel of the the two as the panther wants his privacy left alone and the man would stop at nothing to see the moon, including knocking poor Pink Panther's house off the cliff!

Plenty of laughs and gags in this one - loved how the Pink Panther sneaked into the control room, closing the observatory door and slicing the telescope in half. Then, the man counters by bandaging it!

    Outrageously funny

Structurally it's somewhat on the formulaic side. On the upside, that doesn't come across as too much of a problem as Twinkle Twinkle Little Pink is still a great cartoon, the funniest Pink Panther cartoon since Pinkadilly Circus and one of the series' most delightfully bizarre cartoons. The animation is still minimal, but nicely drawn and colourful still, besides the minimal style is one of the series' charms. The music still manages to be appealingly jazzy and infectious with the theme tune for one so iconic not annoying in the slightest. The gags are the kind that are never less than funny and are delivered beautifully, the best especially the priceless ending being hilarious. Pinky is cool and charismatic, as well as charming as naturally funny, a one-dimensional character maybe but a great one too. The Little White Guy is a great foil, and it is agreed that Twinkle Twinkle Little Pink is one of the few times where you don't feel sorry for him, you identify much more with Pinky here in a way that hadn't quite been seen for a while in his previous cartoons. To conclude, Twinkle Twinkle Little Pink is a great and outrageously funny cartoon and is recommended most highly. 9/10 Bethany Cox

    Pink Panther Odyssey Part XLV

There's a genuinely great mounting adversarial plot with telescope-wielding scientist versus pink who's really, you know, just living his life in a very high house. The bit with the woman is weirdly creepy, but the whole endeavour is relentlessly entertaining with a refreshingly mad ending. One of the stronger ones.

Bonus trivia section to bulk out the word count: The word telescope is relatively modern, and was coined in 1611 by a mathematician observing an instrument created by Galileo. The Big G himself called it a "perspicillum" which is far less catchy. Score one for maths.

Can't Feel Sorry For The Little Guy This Time!

This is another outrageous Pink Panther cartoon in which one bizarre scene follows another....and that's fine with me!

I especially loved the beginning when the "little white man" - an astronomer in this story - is in the observatory with the lens that stretches right to the PP's bizarre home on top of steep mountain. The lens goes right up to the blinds and the scientist thinks he's seeing a new Jupiter-like planet. He reports it immediately to his "hotline" superiors. Then the huge lens goes right into our Panther's bathroom window, where's taking a bath! The scientist sees more things that he obviously misinterprets and reports them, too.

After he finally wises up, he tries to demolish the PP's house and mayhem ensues. Usually I feel sorry for the poor little guy who gets the worst in these PP cartoons, but not here. In this story, he deserves all the bad things that happen to him.

Overall, a very, very inventive cartoon that will leave you laughing out loud.

Although the astronomer doesn't speak in actual words, it's presumed he's telling his superiors he's discovered a new world populated by gorgeous female beauties. This was a common plot theme in many early science fiction films as well as in TV shows such as Star Trek: The Original Series.
