- Gengo Kotaka: They're not human beings. They're aliens that landed from some other planet. We've got to stop them!
- Commander of Defense Forces: So what do you want me to do? Those damn monsters have got us completely beaten.
- Takashi Shima: I know. We saw it.
- Commander of Defense Forces: Only Godzilla has a chance.
- Takashi Shima: I wouldn't be sure about that. He goes near the tower, they'll just burn him down with the laser beam.
- Commander of Defense Forces: Well, then there's not a damn thing we can do about the tower for sure. Those two monsters are defending it. We wouldn't have a chance. Anyway, I recon the tower must be impenetrable.
- Takashi Shima: You're right. But still... there's the inside.
- Commander of Defense Forces: The inside?
- Takashi Shima: That's right. They're busy watching the monsters. They're probably watching out for troops. But a small group could get in there.
