The ending saves it a little

Of all cartoon series (Mickey Mouse, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Betty Boop) the Pink Panther is probably one of the weakest. The only good thing that brings is the fact you notice a good episode immediately. I would not call 'Pink Streaker' really good but the ending has some nice touches and therefore it seems better than it actually is.

The Pink Panther is skiing and while doing that he keeps bothering a man, unintentionally. Every time he wants to help the man and every time thing do not go as planned. These parts are too predictable, but near the end the Pink Panther and the man are on the same skis and it feels like they are characters in a video game which is pretty nice. This moments make sure you will not completely waste your time on this one.

Has its moments, but for the Pink Panther it's underwhelming

While Pink Panther fans may be, mostly likely to be, disappointed by Pink Streaker, they might find value in it still. Because while it is underwhelming and is nowhere near Pinky at his best it still has moments. The animation while kept very simple is still colourful and not too sparsely drawn, there is very little that can be said bad of the design of Pinky and the Little Man. The music doesn't disappoint either, the theme tune has lost none of its timeless value(for one that has been heard so many times) and the accompanying music in the cartoon itself fits beautifully, a very jazzy style that doesn't bog things down at all. The ending is very amusing as is the part when the Little Man is thawed, and you do feel some sympathy for the Little Man. Pinky is a likable character and he and the Little Man work fine with each other but the comedy isn't strong enough for his comic timing to come through, he has been much funnier before. He doesn't do a whole lot that is varied, much of it reads too much of just doing one or two things over and over. The story is paced routinely and does feel rather predictable(with Pinky behaving in a somewhat repetitive way here), most Pink Panther cartoons are but most with cleverer gags, the ending provides a big bright spot that you wish the rest of the cartoon was like that. The humour in Pink Streaker is lacking too, not without moments but there is not much imagination here, the timing does feel stretched in some gags and then there are other gags that veer on bizarre like agreed the one with the donut. Overall, underwhelming but has its moments. Not really recommended but a long way from a must-avoid. 5/10 Bethany Cox

More of the same but still quite funny.

The Pink Panther goes on a skiing trip but inadvertently comes in the way of the pointy-nosed man, sending him on a series of mishaps from getting snowballs rolling in front of him to being sent off hills and ski jumps.

Lots of back and forth stuff between the panther and the man - something that we have seen before, so, there is really nothing to new. But you will get something to laugh out here and there and the music score is quite catchy.

The Pink Panther doesn't get the brunt of the bad luck, which I prefer, and the ending was quite fitting.

Hilly Terrain But A Flat Comedy

This might be the only Pink Panther cartoon in which our main attraction is on skis, enjoying the snow on some mountain. Also, it might be the only one I never got one laugh out of an episode, as this is surprisingly flat.

There is a little man in the same area, who is trying to learn how to ski and he, of course, is the foil in this cartoon. The Pink Panther is his usual one-panther-disaster crew. He doesn't try to hurt this guy but does by bumping into him all the time and causing damage.

The only true bizarre accident is a donut which quickly freezes over and literally snowballs into something almost lethal!

This cartoon only got clever in one short segment when the Panther thawed out the poor man, but that was it.
