- Slick Callahan: Pussywillow, God damn it. I just don't want to see you get hurt, that's all.
- Pearl Baker: Slick, you know all my life everybody's always told me that - that I'm no good, right? And you're the first person who ever told me that I'd ever amount to anything. So, I tell you somethin'. I am not leavin' you. You can go off and do whatever you have to do. But, right now, I just want to do what I want to do.
- Slick Callahan: Before you jump on me, Pussywillow, you gotta remember one thing. And I don't want you ever to forget it. Ever.
