- Malcolm X: He's the devil! Every time you see a white - man. Think about the devil you see. Think of how it is on your slave fore-parents bloody, sweaty backs, that he *built* this empire! Today, the richest of all nations, where his evil and his greed make him hated by the world. This blue-eyed devil took away your names, took away your language, took away your culture. What does he offer in return? A religion - that says, we're all gonna sprout wings, fly up into the sky, where God will have a special place for us - called heaven. While the white devil enjoys his heaven right now!
- Malcolm X: No majority ever gave a minority a fair share of the loot without force.
- Cassius Clay: Well, force is somethin' we can't really do because we're not united. Once we unite, we will have that force.
- Malcolm X: For every one of them in the world, there's two non-whites going on three. Don't forget that.
- Cassius Clay: That sounds a little different: the white minority.
- Malcolm X: They still got the edge on power; but, it's movin' the other way and that's what's really important.
