By Hook or By Crook

This is more of a Dean Shek comedy than a Sammo Hung starring film. The comedy will work for those familiar with the jokes seen in previous kung fu comedies. Not all jokes land but it is made up for by some better than expected action.

All things considered a decent watch.

Sammo Hung plays a thief impersonating 'Flower Kid' , a known do-gooder and general hero... Karl Maka plays the officer who wants to track Sammo down. After blackmailing a bounty-hunter into helping him, the hunter and sammo gang together to help the real flower kid beat his demons.

Average fight scenes, average comedy... see one of Sammo's better movies, like Millionaires Express, instead. or see Aces go Places for a better Karl Maka movie. 6/10
