Director Aured is best remembered for his early films with Paul Naschy. These titles include THE MUMMY'S REVENGE, HORROR RISES FROM THE TOMB and CURSE OF THE DEVIL. With those types of credits he might seem like a strange choice for a hardcore Spanish flick but there's no denying that he certainly created one of the strangest flicks ever made. Five people in a gang (two played by Ajita Wilson and Lina Romay) have fun by constantly having sex with one another and doing petty crimes but they decide to take things a step further by kidnapping a rich man's daughter. Soon they're demanding one-million in cash but they're also turned on by the fact that the girl is a virgin and they all want a part of her. Soon the victim falls for one of the members and tries to get him to run off with her. As with many films in this genre, this one was filmed in a soft (74-minute) and hard (92-minute) version and I was able to see a subtitled hardcore print. The picture quality was fairly bad but it was certainly nice to see the subtitles. The story itself really isn't anything that great and in facts it's rather simple. The majority of the time we're either watching sex or the various characters are talking about forming smaller groups and leaving the rest behind. None of the dialogue is all that good but for this type of film it's not overly bad. The crime aspect of the story isn't anything you wouldn't see in a third-rate American porno and it all leads up to an ending that most people will see coming from a mile away. The hardcore footage is pretty rough and you can tell that it was badly edited in but at least all of the cast members are doing their own work so you don't have to sit through them knowing that others are doing the added scenes. If you're a fan of Jess Franco then you know that many of his soft titles were edited by producers with hardcore scenes from other people added. Judging by the way they're edited here I'm going to guess that the producer added them so that he could sell the film to more markets but again, at least the original actors are doing the parts. Wilson and Romay are Franco vets so I'm going to go out on a limb and say their fans are the ones who are going to want to check this film out. Both are fairly good in their roles, although the screenplay really doesn't require too much. The film's nasty reputation comes from the fact that various objects (pool stick, candle, knife) are used for penetration and Wilson is usually the one getting the abuse. These scenes are poorly shot, un-erotic and really don't add much to the film. Fans of sexploitation might want to check this one out but it's mainly for fans of the two stars.

Director Carlos Aured is best known for his work in the horror genre, making several films in the '70s starring Spanish horror legend Paul Naschy: The Mummy's Revenge, Return of the Werewolf, Horror Rises from the Tomb, and gory giallo Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll. Apocalipsis Sexual, which Aured co-directed with Sergio Bergonzelli, is something else entirely, the film entering extremely dodgy Jess Franco/Joe D'Amato territory by being 1% crime thriller and 99% hardcore porn.

The DVD that I watched was in foreign without the benefit of wordy bits at the bottom of the screen, but the plot is fairly simple to follow: a beautiful woman is kidnapped by a gang of sexual deviants who hold her to ransom; while waiting for their payout, the gang subject their prisoner to continuous sexual abuse until she develops Stockholm Syndrome and starts to enjoy her experience.

Avid Jess Franco fans will no doubt want to check this film out to see the director's muse Lina Romay getting up to all sorts of graphic naughtiness, along with fellow Franco regular Ajita Wilson; both are heavily involved in the endless barrage of orgiastic thrusting, licking, gyrating, sucking, slurping, and squelching, in which pretty much every sexual combination, position and orifice is explored. However, even Franco fans might be surprised at just how sleazy and exploitative this film gets at times, with eye-opening scenes involving the insertion of a variety of objects (a snooker cue, a candle, a bottle and a switchblade), a rough rape scene, and a nasty ending that sees Ajita being sliced with a switchblade from the vagina upwards!

Okay, so the only reason I stumbled this obscure Spanish XXX roughie was because my absolute favorite actress; the gorgeous, sexy, talented, hardcore, etc Lina Romay was on it. And I couldn't be more happy that I did. The movie is a very entertaining and sleazy porn with a interesting (for the genre!) plot and lots of rough sex. The cast is pretty good, with Ajita Wilson giving a nice performance. "She" is looking pretty hot also (especially when getting big pool cues through her behind...) But obviously the biggest reason to watch this one is for Lina. She's looking at her best here, performing hardcore of course. Viva Lina!!

Either way, the sensually scintillated viewer is sure to avidly appreciate the strident fact that the uniquely exotic adult film icons Ajita Wilson & Lina Romay have so uninhibitedly conjoined their exquisitely erotic talents to such an exhilarating effect in 'Apocalypsis Sexual', altruistically expressing their not inconsiderable physical charms with such unbound zeal in order that so many needful Euro-cult fans might appreciatively slake their more transgressive Sinematic thirsts!

A band of kinky perverts kidnap a young heiress and teach her the joys of sexual decadence in this rare psycho sleazefest from Carlos Aured and Sergio Bergonzelli.The hard core Italian language print is definitely one to find as it offers tons of delicious sleaze for example we see women cramming pool cues and switchblades up their hairy vaginas.The film is loaded with lots of rough sex and sexual torture,so fans of dirty exploitation cinema will be pleased.Overall,"Apocalipsis Sexual" is among the nastiest Spanish sexploitation flicks I have ever seen.It makes Wes Craven's "Last House on the Left" and "Late Night Trains" look like kindergarten stuff.So if you are a fan of Lina Romay or Ajita Wilson you can't miss this nasty piece of filth.6 out of 10.
