It is German theme week in the supermarket, giving the staff the opportunity to brush up on their best stereotypes. Meanwhile Tripper has problems of his own when a note holds him to ransom.

Games aplenty as a small lost boy who loves playing is found in the store, and Tripper hosts bingo for the customers.

Tripper is looking for efficiency measures, but regrets taking suggestions from the staff. Then things go from bad to worse, starting with a leak in the stock room.

The burglar alarm appears to develop a mind of its own, while the staff are all of a hive-mind in trying to cause Tripper maximum discomfort.

The VAT inspectors arrive, but Tripper's not the only one worried when there's a bomb scare.
