Kiki: Without even thinking about it, I used to be able to fly. Now I'm trying to look inside myself and find out how I did it.

Kiki: That painter who found the stuffed cat told me she wants to do a drawing with me in it.
Jiji: Naked?
Kiki: Jiji!

Kiki: Jiji, I've decided not to leave this town. Maybe I can stay and find some other nice people who will like me and accept me for who I am.

Jiji: [after losing the toy cat doll intended for Ket in a forest, Kiki decides to place Jiji inside the cage so that Kiki can retrieve the real item without further agitating the crows] You gotta be kidding!
Kiki: You can just pretend to be the doll until I find the real one.
[camera points to Ket's house]
Jiji: Why don't YOU pretend to be stuffed and I'LL go get the stupid doll?
Kiki: Don't worry. Hold still.
Jiji: Can I breathe?
Kiki: No. No breathing.
Jiji: [winces]

Kiki: But I'm not going just for a good time. In order to be a good witch I have to train a year away from home!

Kiki: [trying to think of a way to get back the stuffed cat without getting attacked by crows] Maybe we'd better rethink our plan
Jiji: Frankly I think this is a major insult, crows used to serve witches and do what you told them
Kiki: Hey that was a long time ago, okay
Jiji: How about we go in after dark? Go in, get it, and get out.

Jiji: [a flock of squawking crows approach to Kiki and Jiji] They're calling you an egg-stealer and you don't wanna know what else! If I were you I wouldn't go back down there, again.
Kiki: We have to! Hold on!

Jiji: [On her way to deliver a toy cat, geese warn Kiki about a gust of wind; both Kiki and Jiji are caught in it and accidentally lose the cage in the forest after unintentionally agitating a crow] That was your fault. The geese were kind enough to warn us of that wind, but would you listen?
Kiki: Oh be quiet!

Kiki: We better rest here until it's dry.
Jiji: Won't we get in trouble?
Kiki: Not if nobody's finds us. I'm soaked through, down to the bone.
Jiji: Hello?
Kiki: [Kiki takes off her wet dress from the rain, seeing her with her white undershirt and white panties as she puts her dress beside her. Then gathers a pile of hay to cover herself] This smells great.

Kiki: [after Kiki's feet are licked by cows] I think I hear cows?
Jiji: [disgusted] I think I smell cows?
Kiki: [looks down at the cows through the hay] Oops sorry, we didn't mean to fall asleep in your breakfast

Kiki: Jiji climb up and turn on the radio, I don't think I can handle it, can you do it?
Jiji: [climbs over to it at the end of the broom] Oh great, now I'm suddenly the flight attendant!

Jiji: [after Kiki has bought some groceries and other items] Any money left Kiki?
Kiki: Not much, looks like all we can afford to eat now is pancakes
Jiji: I hope I can keep my trim waist, I wouldn't want that girl cat next door to think I'm turning into...
[Kiki stops to look at some shoes in a department store window]
Jiji: Kiki? Kiki?
Kiki: [disappointed] They're so expensive, look Jiji aren't they beautiful?

Jiji: [spots Kiki sleeping on the counter] Hey, message for sleepyhead, wake up you're supposed to be minding the store!
Kiki: I am, but today this place is boring.
Jiji: But it always gets busy about this time?
Kiki: I know that, that's not what I mean, I mean my customers, Jiji if nobody comes in I'm going to have to eat pancakes forever and be fat, fat, fat! Now what am I supposed to do about that?
Jiji: Well I like pancakes, provided they're not burned
Kiki: [annoyed] Look furball when you get fat and round as a pancake, you see if I care
