One cartoonist draws Koko. Another draws a fat clown. While Koko tries to get in shape through calisthenics and massage, the other tries to lose weight, until the race begins. Candle either get to the candle before it goes out, or will they get to the dirigible and take a tour of the city?
I'm not sure of the impulse that led to this particular cartoon, but does it really make a difference? Koko is frustrated by nonsensical milestones and a deflating horse. The other clown drawbridges that set him in the wrong direction and giant fish that swallow him. Does a series of gags add up to an actual story?
