King Carter, despot of the prairie domain, will stop at nothing to prevent the Hartford Transcontinental Railroad from running through Hellgate Pass. Jeff Ramsay, railroad official, and his aide, John Hartford, set out to put an end to Carter's tyranny.
Hartford is building a railroad heading west and King Carter is out to stop him from going through his town by goading the Indians into attacking the railroad crew.
