I am a fan of any legends in literature so I found this movie charming. It isn't that the acting is great or the directing, filming, etc. but it was oddly romantic (chick flick category). Marc Singer,(still handsome and masculine) whom I had not seen since Beastmaster, was still great with a sword. He played the wholesome Lancelot with a lot of focus, it was different. There is nothing indecent or offensive in this piece so anyone can watch it, which is rare. I'm sure it was targeting youth but I don't know why, I just liked it. Where are all the Lancelots anyway?

I am ALWAYS a sucker for anything to do with Marc Singer! From V: The Mini-Series to Beastmaster III! This movie did not disappoint me in any way. I found it refreshing and wholesome, but not sickeningly so. It was funny in just the right places and dramatic where it needed to be. I am also a sucker for anything Arthurian in nature and Marc Singer makes the best Lancelot I have seen in quite a while! Claudia Christian is also one of my favorites and her performance was perfection and more! This movie had no sex, mild violence, mild cursing and lots of fun! If you enjoy a movie that everyone can watch, I would recommend that you watch this one! My hat is off to the cast and crew of this one! Thank you for making a movie that I can enjoy with a roomful of people!
I just saw this for first time in my life and I'll take this over that racially motivated grubby 13th warrior any day! This is most rad. I love the introduction, the sword fight between the 2 best knights of round table, the musical score accompanying that, the insertion of the lady of the lake and explanations and relations between the characters that are all in keeping with the original medieval and dark age manuscripts. The actors are superb. Are there anymore actors, directors, composers, writers active that deserve the description? For kids and teens this is marvellous. Love me some Marc Singer, the dude that plays Gawain, love they speak American not with british accent, love the idea of them jumping through time, the actress is also bodatious. 10 stars easily great job Mr Singer!
Marc Singer has to say some pretty stylized dialog in this film -- and darn if he doesn't make it stick: he speaks like a man who truly believes what he says. Surprising that Claudia Christian isn't a bigger name, as she navigates a fairly tricky balance between types, a decade before she voiced Adrianne Avenicci in Skyrim. John Saxon delivers yet another beautiful performance, villainous without feeling like a parody. Watching this for the second time, I found myself marveling at how convincing all the principals are, regardless of the wha-huh? Qualities of the plot. (And yes, I had also just been re-watching Beastmaster, why do you ask?)
This is truly one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life.
For some terrible reason, my friend's parents hired this atrocity from the video store. There is not one thing right with this movie. It is absolutely laughable in every way. Although I must admit, it did contain entertainment value. This included lines such as "I just saw a really hot guy on a horse", and the fact that "Lancelot" had some really weird American accent going on when he was supposedly...well...Lancelot. Who's from medieval England. ... Yeah, exactly.
See this movie if you're having a 'Worst movie of all time' night. Laugh at the 'special' effects! I could have made a better film than this on my mobile phone in my backyard with myself cast as Lancelot. I rated it a 1, but if this was the 'bad films awards' i would have given it 10.
That is all.
