In Bewitched Bunny, made two years after this cartoon, Bugs tells the Hansel and Gretel in that short that Hazel is a witch and is planning to eat them for dinner to whom they then retort, "Ahhhh, your mother rides a vacuum cleaner!" In this Mighty Mouse cartoon, a witch does exactly that! H and G in this one are mice who act a little sugary sweet saying "hello" to many of the various woodland creatures (though saying "goodbye" to any skunks they encounter!). So it's logical that the witch's servants are all cats. But, of course, MM gets those felines but good! Not hilarious, but amusing enough and the animation is good for the Terrytoons product. So on that note, Hansel and Gretel is worth a look.
