Jolly the Clown

When the pink pigmy acrobatic elephant bobbles the finish of his act, the ring master fires him. But squonky-voiced Jolley the Clown comes up with an act they can both perform. Or can they?

While Famous Studios struggled to find something new for their established series to do, something to keep them fresh, and often as not failing in the attempt, they were having some success with their one-shot Noveltoons. With no expectation and much hope, with budgets kept low by simplified designs, they could try scripts that just wouldn't fit Popeye or Casper, and had get some good results, like this cartoon.
