During the opening credits the large car performs a U-turn without indicating, firstly pulling over to the left but the cyclists behind wait for the car to pull out, indicating that, peculiarly, they knew what it was going to do.
Garrett ( Ian Carmichael ) goes to Watford Junction railway station and gets the train to Liverpool. The station announcer had said, "Next stop Crewe". Garrett falls asleep and when he wakes, Maggie ( Janet Munro ) says, "We've just passed Grantham" but the West Coast Main Line does not pass Grantham and they can't have changed trains because the train was not going to stop until Crewe and also they are still in the same compartment with the other passengers.
