You can compare it with another French TV show, from the same period, and also bringing home audiences more or less the same kind of atmosphere: LA BRIGADE DES MALEFICES. I personally prefer this latest, maybe because it was more horror and supernatural oriented than science fiction and technology, such as AUX FRONTIERES DU POSSIBLE, but both proposed investigations, villains and above all the French charm and atmosphere from the seventies. AUX FRONTIERES DU POSSIBLE however had the advantage and interest to show new discoveries in terms of science, speaking of many details about which most audiences, though, understand nothing.
