One of the funniest comedies i've ever seen.great performance by the 70's italian star LINO BANFI.I suppose an american audience would not appreciate, but it's really great.the italian sexy comedy will ALWAYS live in our hearts and souls thanks to movies like this.
Simply THE BEST Banfi's movie! Highly recommended, even if the vhs is a bit hard to find. All the characters involved in this film will give you lots of fun, starting from Gigi Reder -R.I.P.-(the legendary Rag.Filini in the Fantozzi's saga), Franco Bracardi, and the awesome Alfonso Tomas, here in its all-times best performance!
If you are not italian, you can't understand the high votes for this film......it's difficult to explain this success; in Italy 'Vieni avanti cretino' it's really a cult-movie, a must seen for my generation, one of the movies that everyone knows and loves... for example, I don't know how many times I talk 'bout this film with my friends with a good bottle of wine in my hands and a smile on my face... 'Vieni avanti cretino', 'Fantozzi', 'Lo chiamavano Trinità' and so on are probably 'technically' terrible films... but It doesn't matters... I'm sure that I'm not the only one that laughts at the quotation of this film and decides to give it a 10/10...

- TriviaThe original title is taken from a gag of the De Rege brothers, a couple of Italian stage actors active between the 1920s and the 1940s. Most of the movie gags are indeed typical of the avanspettacolo, the theatrical genre of the De Rege brothers.
