Sachin bhowmick ramesh pant j om prakash should be given credit for the movie aas pass released in 1981 starring dharmendra script written by sachin b and ramesh p is effective lots of grey shades in each character all characters are well written which gives actors full scope to explore and perform none of the actors look weak each one of them delivers 100 percent characters played by dharmendra hema prem chopra is well written none of them look bigger than life size all look like normal real human beings they all play characters no hero heroine villain business since it's a mainstream movie so certain commercial elements are there such as fights songs and tragic ending I personally felt end could have been realistic instead of hema committing suicide she should have married dharmendra and afterwards lots of mental turmoil would have happened that could have been shown the way it happens in art films or our real life dharmendra instead of getting killed should have married hema and simultaneously hema prem relationship happened and after that huge mental turmoil happened with prem hema and it's side effects on other characters but anyway it's a commercial film so this story is fine too dharmendra hema prem and others are lucky artists they got golden chance to perform in 70s 80s quality films written by talented learned people like sachin bhowmick and directors of calliber like j om prakash after this era quality of bollywood films declined anyway aas pass is must watch.

Aaspaas is a treat for the romantic people who like emotion-filled mature romance. Performances are highly admirable..Dharmendra and hema looking very charming..All songs are very good with Good picturization...8/10.
