I must be honest and say it's bad, but if you like bad cheesy films, it's a must see.
Masters of Menace, which at least has a somewhat appealing title, is one of those films that some might categorize under the dubious "Worst Movie Ever" section. It is however, quite hilarious, intentional or not.
Masters of Menace is about a biker gang on a trip to Las Vegas for a funeral. While getting there they stop at strip bars, play cat and mouse with the cops, and raise mayhem everywhere they go.
The acting and editing are unbelievably bad, and the jokes and pranks are so forced it's impossible not to laugh at. Without looking at their filmography's, I would guess most of the actors in this film had brief acting careers. After looking at the actors filmography's, I am truly amazed they've all had lengthy careers. They must have improved their skills, because they all look like novice's in Masters of Menace.
I did in fact enjoy Masters of Menace, but I also enjoyed Mac and Me, and both are very very bad movies. So bad they're funny.
Masters of Mayhem is a laugh riot no doubt.
2 out of 10 objectively, 8 if you enjoy cheese and bad films.

A lost Classic
Masters of Menace is a great comedy about a motorcycle gang known as the the Road Masters, led by Buddy Wheeler. They are under probation to not leave the state. But have to when one of their members dies and needs a proper burial. They go on a road trip to Las Vagas with their lawyer Wollace Wolfby. Along the way the make friends and meet some old friends, but also make a enemy out of Riley Hoover who will stop at nothing to put the road masters in jail.
I grew up in a biker family so this movie a lot of sentimental value for me. I knew some people who are like the characters in the movie.
I think this movie is great and that everyone should see it. It is far funnier than any movie made in the last five years. Their are some great memorable quotes and characters.
There are some great scenes in this movie like when the gang stops at Billy Bob's buffet and are busted by the locale sheriff. Or when they drink widow cleaner and get advice from Smokey The Bear. There are also great cameo appearances from Jim Belushi and John Candy.
I've done some research on this film and found out that it was written by the actor who played Horny Hank. A year before this movie came out a movie name Wedding Band was made.It is directed and written by the same people and starring some of th same actors. So you may want to check that out to. I have not seen it.
Masters Of Menace is a movie you should not pass up. Buy it, watch it, tell your fiends, because it is a true classic that needs to be known.

Funny movie!!!
So many times I missed the beginning of the movie, which is actually the most important part! It gives the basis for the whole cross country adventure of the Masters Of Menace. Regardless, the beer truck scenes are worth watching this movie alone. Poor John Candy, poor brother Gypsy, but hurray for the Beck's Beer truck! Kudos, and enjoy! It's been a while since I've seen this flick, but as stated before, the cameo's are worth it. This movie was a great bridge between the classic 80's comedies, to kinda what became of Hollywood in the 90's. Now if only Chevy Chase could have somehow made a guest appearance. Again, as the other user stated, not the best of any particular realm of acting, but it is indeed worth some great laughs.

More realistic than many think!
I really enjoyed this film. As a former rider with a "club" in the 1970's, I remember those times and people with an insider's view. Contrary to all the Hollywood "biker" movies, this film is a far better representation of the experience of being a club member during that period. The desire to "just have fun", and tweak the insecurities of the "straights" without really hurting anyone, is right on the mark. Also very accurate is the tendency to do things without considering any negative consequences. Hollywood has taken 5% of the "biker" lifestyle, and portrayed it as a continuous confrontational, violent existence. Masters of Menace accurately reveals the other 95%, and the sometimes childish enjoyment of the experience. It brought back lots of good memories!
