High School II

The first high school was an interesting, well paced time capsule of American school life. It allowed viewers to see what life was like, in an interesting, realists and nostalgic way.

This film misses that mark. Mostly because of its LENGTH. At 3 hours and 40 minutes it is a big ask for audiences to be engaged, particularly as it is basically just a series of long conversations between faculty and students.

Perhaps because it is closer to my school era, I also didn't find it quite as fascinating. Every individual conversation is interesting, but the film is probably a hundred minutes too long.
