- Valerie Sanders: So?
- Teddy McNair: [looks at the mirror, goes upset] Nothing's wrong with me, you BITCH!
- Valerie Sanders: [stands up, goes suspicious] Excuse me?
- Teddy McNair: [stammers] I bring you up here to talk to you--just to talk, to share something very, very beautiful with you, and all you want to do is roll around like animals!
- Valerie Sanders: [goes uncomfortable] Just take me home, Teddy.
- Teddy McNair: [grabs her] No, look at me!
- Valerie Sanders: Let go of me!
- Teddy McNair: [yells] I SAID LOOK AT ME! YOU NEVER EVEN LOOKING AT ME!

- Teddy McNair: YOU WALKED DOWN THE HALL; YOU NEVER EVEN SEE ME!
- [Teddy pushes her on the couch knocking down some candles and grabs scissor]
- Valerie Sanders: DON'T DO THIS TO ME! I see you! Please, I see you!
- Teddy McNair: I've spent my whole life trying to be NOTICED by you!
- [Teddy begins cutting her hair]
- Valerie Sanders: What are you doing? You're scaring me!
- Teddy McNair: We BOTH died in that fire! Joey was the lucky one!
- [Valerie kicks him and makes a run for it, Teddy runs after her knocking down more candles, Valerie grabs a piece of plywood and tries to hit Teddy, but Teddy pins her down to the ground as Valerie continues screaming and crying]
- Teddy McNair: [yells violently] YOU SAID YOU'D BE THERE, AND YOU NEVER HAVE! YOU SAID YOU LOVE ME, AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME!
- Valerie Sanders: Please, I won't say anything!
- [Valerie continues screaming and crying as Teddy starts choking her until he hears the sound of exploding glass, Teddy finally let's go of Valerie, who runs off crying, as he watches his grandmother's cottage go in flames]
