The Secret Agent Club

I give this a 6 through nostalgia.

I have fond memories of renting this on VHS and when I came across the DVD I couldn't wait to show my kids (who are huge wrestling fans and aware of who Hogan is)

Ofcourse it's tacky, it's cheesy, it's a bit lame. But this isn't a movie for me and you to sit and enjoy as a serious piece of cinema. This is a fun romp for the kids, and as a kids movie it holds up to this day as an entertaining watch for them. Younger kids aren't going to pick this movie apart for the acting quality, the cheesy resolutions and the over the top storyline, they're going to enjoy hulk hogan and the movie with the really cool ray gun (that's what my 7 year olds ask for when they watch it).

Lighten up and let it be a kids movie. If you've fond memories like me, show your little ones, watch it together and have a laugh, switch off for a bit.

An Oscar winner this is not, clearly. However as a kids movie this has everything you could want, a kid friendly plot complete with espionage, weapons, martial arts and hammy villains. Hulk Hogan does a decent enough job as Ray and despite what anybody else says, the kids all do a good job with the script. The occasional cheesy bits and possibly unintentional comic moments (due to cheese or cliché) don't detract and if anything, add to the fun nature of the movie.

Family fun that should not be disregarded, it makes no apologies about what it is and that is a solid kids movie that is entertaining and exciting for all ages.

The wall-to-wall, tubular radness of Hogan's golden 'The Secret Agent Club' makes it nigh on essential for your continued emotional and spiritual well-being! In these dark and doomy days of dramatic despondency, the 'unconventionally' talented, Hogan sheds his wholesome comedy light into our increasingly shadow-steeped world! While follically challenged, our handsome, homespun hero, wild man, Hogan remains wholly unchallenged in the bellicose, B-movie arena of ham-fisted comedy!

This movie is made funny by its laughable special effects and plotline, but is saved by some of the acting. Danny McCue in particular does a great job as the resourceful and friendly Bart.

Because i loved it when I was a kid, if you have very young children this one should keep them entertained for 90 minutes
