- Major Kuldeep Singh: [Talking to himself] There's a hell lot of time for morning to arrive.
- Wing Commander Anand Bajwa: [Cursing his Hunter jets after being informed of the incoming attack on Longewala] I hate you I can't fight in the night! Can't fight in the night, bloody hell, can't fight in the night!
- [Scene cuts to Pakistani tanks approaching Longewala closer]
- Wing Commander Anand Bajwa: [Back at the airbase, Andy summons his pilots for briefing] Boys, briefing.
- [Pilots assemble in the war room]
- Wing Commander Anand Bajwa: Unfortunately, enemy tanks have surrounded Longewala post. Our boys at the BOP are under their grip. Our job, is to release their grip with the first light of the morning. All of you boys and myself will take off at the first light of the morning and head to Longewala all along the Ramgarh route. None of our tanks are there, so keep your eyes open. And if you see a tank, HIT IT and hit them hard. Any doubts?
- [Pilots saying no]
- Wing Commander Anand Bajwa: Fine. Let's get battle ready for the morning, and keep our fingers crossed. And pray for those 120 bravehearts, who are standing in the path of death.
