Trivia

Incognito

Edit
This was supposed to be the feature directorial debut of actor Peter Weller, but he was replaced by John Badham about two weeks into filming, because of his criticism of producer James G. Robinson and the budget. He said, "Their idea of a budget is going to a hot dog stand."
This was director John Badham's final feature film. He has since worked exclusively in television.
When Marieke mails the letter, there is a very short close-up, where you can read the address of Juan del Campo, meaning "John of the Field", living in Plaza de la Mierda, meaning "Shit Plaza".
Alec Baldwin signed on to play Harry in 1995, when the film was in its early stages, but he ended up dropping out about six months later.
In his trial testimony, Detective Inspector Deeks (Michael Cochrane) identifies the murder weapon as a "Link and Levinson semi-automatic." There is no such weapon. This appears to be the filmmakers' subtle tribute to William Link and Richard Levinson, creators of "Columbo" among other television series, and writers of such TV films as "That Certain Summer" and "The Execution of Private Slovik."
